Annual General Meeting 2024

We held our Annual General Meeting (AGM) for 2024 on Wednesday, 4 December. We introduced our new trustees, discussed our planned work for the current financial year, and reflected on our key achievements from the previous year. Highlights included discussing the impact of our maternity and hospital discharge projects and meeting the Mayor of Lambeth, Cllr John-Paul Ennis.

Our Chair of Trustees, Patrick Mitchell, welcomed our attendees and thanked our outgoing Chair, Sarah Corlett, and outgoing CEO, Mairéad Healy.

We introduced new trustees to the Board, all of whom were approved for a three-year term. The new trustees include Patrick Mitchell, Tom Lee, Zahra Abbas, Max Ottaway, Andrew Dobson, Dr Chioma Okonji, David Maguire, and Jennifer Walker. This brings our board to our maximum capacity of twelve members.

We also gave updates on our finance report, thanked our volunteers for their work, and answered questions from attendees.

Going Forward, 2024-25

Enter and View Programme

Our current Enter and View programme includes Mental Health Services (Luther King Ward), Primary Care (2 GP Practices), and Adult Social Care (2 Extra-Care Schemes).

Mental Health

We are currently completing the report for our project on understanding the experiences of Black African and Black Caribbean men with a severe mental illness (SMI).

Public Participation in the Healthcare System

The reports for our project on supporting community engagement in Lambeth Primary Care Networks Care Networks (PCNs) have been sent to partners for feedback and will be published shortly.

Access to Services

We have projects in progress aiming to understand the barriers to access for specific communities and those experiencing digital exclusion.

Lambeth Pulse

Lambeth Pulse is our regular survey exploring the views of Lambeth residents on various topics across health and social care.

Responses are collected via:

  • Information stalls in libraries, supermarkets, hospitals, and health centres
  • Community events, e.g. Lambeth Country Show, Ageing Well Festival
  • Online, via social media and our networks
